August News

Hey everyone
"Someone Likes Yoghurt" is shaping up nicely and tickets are already selling well for Edinburgh, so if you haven't booked yet then do try to do so in advance, especially if you want to take advantage of the cheaper tickets for the first few days.

It's on at the Pleasance Above from 3rd-29th August (not 16th) at 8pm.
You can book tickets on-line here http://www.edfringe.com/shows/detail.php?action=shows&id=RICHH
A few days are already sold out on there, but there should still be some tickets for all performances from the Pleasance box office on 0131 556 6550

For those of you in London (or Bedford) who can't travel up to Scotland there are still a few previews to go
please go to http://www.richardherring.com/gigs for details
27th July - Riverside studios Hammersmith
28th July - Wimbledon Theatre
29th July - Bedford Corn Exchange (40 minutes stand up - not full show)
30th July - Red Rose, Islington.

In addition to the Fringe show I will be performing quite a lot of stand up during the Festival. Here are the ones I know about already - keep your eye on the web page for extra ones and for more details about these

5th August The Stand, Glasgow
6th August Late n Live
11th August Best of the Fest
13th August BBC stand up show
14th August Spank
17th August Late n Live
18th August Political Animal
19th August BBC stand up show
20th August Spank
21st August Late n Live

For the last week of the Fringe there is a strong likelihood that I will be doing extra late night Yoghurt shows, including at least one night where I do Just the Yoghurt routine for as long as I can make it last. Keep an eye on the website for details of these gigs.

Other news
I am currently hosting the BBC7 radio breakfast show at 8am every weekday. It's me doing a few links and then some old radio shows playing in between.
I will be doing my last Andrew Collings' show until September on Sunday on 6Music at around 3pm
There will be an article in the Sunday Times Culture section on (probably) August 7th in which I write about what I think about Stewart Lee and vice versa, which should make interesting reading!

Please do spread the news about the Fringe show to anyone you think might be interested. It would be a big help to me and my future projects if I have a good year and I think it's one of my best shows yet. Keep an eye on http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup to find out how things are progressing.

Have a lovely August
