Monday 21st April 2003

Luckily I have a week and a half before I have to go home. I am going to have to use the time to catch up on the work I have failed to do on the book, but it is good to have some time in this wonderful country outside the excesses of the Festival.
I got up typically late today and headed to St Kilda for a 5pm breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on your perspective.
I had forgotten how close to the sea I have been all this time. Watching the sun go down over the ocean is like Nature's Prozac. I have spent so much time in doors it has been easy to forget that I am on the other side of world to my home.
It's going to be good to be awake during daylight hours and enjoy the wonders of this remarkable city again, without having to talk to 100 strangers about cocks.
But if I want to talk to 100 strangers about cocks I can still do it, though I may be arrested.
