Two nights of decent sleep and the dizziness was much better (though came back in waves every now and again). I am pretty sure it's just lost sleep (and the stress of parenthood) that is making this happen, but it's getting a bit annoying. The only exercise I am getting is dog walking and my weight is slowly creeping upwards.  But to be fair I've relaxed things considerably throughout holiday August and only two or three pounds up is a proper result given the amount of ice cream I've eaten.
I will come back strong in September.
And that's dry Jangust completed for the second time in three years.

First draft of the first episode of the fourth series of Relativity is now complete. It only took four months. And I have two months to do the other five and then second drafts of all six. It will be fine. Probably fine.
Or the first show will be really good and the rest will be dogshit.
Either way, no one will say anything.
It's an important step though. I just wish I'd made it at the end of May like I intended. But then I wouldn't  be me would I?
If you added up the actual time sitting down and writing then it would not add up to more than a week or so's work (though of course so much script writing is done subconsciously as you get on with other stuff and wait for the mental rubik's cube to randomly turn until it accidentally comes to a solution). I will be prioritising this work over September and October (whilst also doing 14 more RHLSTPs and the audiobook of "Would You Rather?" and the Taskmaster Champion of Champions studio record) and will really try to force myself just to write anything I can and worry about making it good on the second pass (that technique is still a big reach for me though).
It may be easier once the kids are back at school. I had three hours to work this morning, before taking over the childcare until bedtime (as Catie was doing her podcast records in town). They are currently obsessed with LOL dolls. My daughter (no doubt correctly) insists that this is pronounced el oh el dolls, but I think they should definitely be called Loll dolls because that is way better. She gets annoyed if I do that though. It’s good to have arguments about important things. I don’t know quite how they get kids obsessed with stuff like this (I do though, it’s by putting loads of stuff about them on YouTube) but it’s a pretty sweet business, so well done to Ian LOL for rinsing so many parents of their hard won money on stuff that will end up in landfill with small pieces that will definitely get lost. I admire him.
They are pretty cool too. I might start collecting them myself.

The sketch I was in with the Drunk Women Solving Crime and Jenny Eclair (amongst others) is now available for you to watch with your eyes. Warning, includes nudity .
