I'd guess there were around 60 in tonight, which isn't too bad given the circumstances, but I hope it's going to build from here or I'll be losing a whole heap of money. Talking Cock was selling out at this point, though I think it was a similar story for "Christ on a Bike" which was also in a new venue, so there's no need for panic. A few sell outs will put me back on course.
A three star review in the Guardian today, which was pretty complimentary, though I think wrongly accused the show of being "trivial". There are some big issues discussed in there, though I think he came on Friday when I was forced to rush the end. It's one of those annoying reviews that won't put anyone off coming, but probably won't encourage anyone new. But it didn't depress me and I took it in my stride. I think in past years I would have been more annoyed, but I am looking at things differently this time. And I can get the quote "a consumate comic... very funny" out of it anyway. You can see the review in the Press section. I will try to put everything up there, both good and bad. Let me know if you spot any reviews anywhere.
