I am very impressed with the persistence of the Approved Viagra Store. I don't get many junk emails on my computer because I have a pretty efficient filter, but my iPhone is not quite as selective so I get a few bits of spam through. But nearly all of it is from the Approved Viagra Store who email me at least four times a day, offering me Viagra at discounts which vary between 70% and 79%.
I don't know where they have got the idea that I would require Viagra. My erection is still reliable and practically permanent already, and I have never shown any interest in ever buying Viagra. Yet every single day the Approved Viagra Store feel the need to just keep checking up on whether I need some Viagra. I am quite old, it is possible that my erection might fail at any second, but I am not sure that they need to keep me updated every six hours.
Especially when I have never even actually read one of their emails beyond the subject heading, let alone expressed any desire to take them up on it.
Yet still the emails come in, with a regularity that some people might think was annoying and off putting. But for me the constant poking and continued slightly rude implication that I might have erectile problems, when I have given no indication that I actually do, makes me admire the Approved Viagra Store. For without hope, what are we? Nothing.
I can see why Viagra has approved them for the sale of Viagra. Because they're not the kind of people who are going to take nothing for an answer. One day I might just receive that email and think, "Mmmm, you know what I fancy right now? Some lovely tasty Viagra. Thank goodness the approved Viagra Store got in touch with me."
I know spammers aren't necessarily that bothered about annoying people, but I really question whether the info has to come four times a day.
Having said that, it does mean I have noticed it and commented upon it. And maybe someone with erectile dysfunction who reads this will now Google "Approved Viagra Stores" and buy some Viagra (insist on 79% off though and don't accept the 70% off that some of the emails offer - some consistency in price might make me respect the emails more). So the Approved Viagra Store will have done their job.
As for me. I am OK for Viagra at the moment. So would like to suggest to the Approved Viagra Store that I will email you if I feel I need any. I've got your address.

For those of you who are pining for more Collings and Herrin podcasts GOOD NEWS!
Collings and Herrin: The Best of Earth Wind and Fire* is now available from those good folk at Go Faster Stripe.
It includes four exclusive and specially recorded podcasts (with unheard of studio sound quality) as well as a bonus Q&A session from our live Lincoln gig and audio book versions of some of our childhood stories (including Men of Phise and some previously unheard tales).
It is only available in old fashioned CD format, but to get halfway to being in the 21st Century all the material is in MP3 format so will glide seamlessly onto your computer/futuristic listening device.
It's only ten pounds (I PAID TEN POUNDS) for all this guff and if it sells well we will do some more of these bonus type things, though we will continue to dole out the free ones (the next one should be up on iTunes on Tuesday afternoon) and we're also continuing our Saturday morning 6Music show until at least the end of May, so there's a weekly podcast from that too.
To buy the CD please go to Go Faster Stripe
where other excellent work and Andrew Collings' stupid audiobook are also available.
You've had well over 100 podcasts for free. Hope you won't mind paying for a few!
