December News

Yo ho ho, Happy Christmas
I hope you've all been good this year. I know I have.
Well maybe a little bit naughty.

Here's all the latest news:

There are now 8 of these shows to download from iTunes or the British Comedy Guide - with two more to come. Hope you've been enjoying them. It would be great if you could make it down to Leicester Square Theatre to see one of them live - Get your tickets here -
Monday 7th December at 9.30 (following Stewart Lee's show - go see him too!) or Monday 14th December at 8pm.
Hopefully we'll do some more next year!

There are a few live dates coming up. Please support them if you can as it is the only way we make any money from this insane enterprise.

Tuesday 8th December at 9pm - Duke of Yorks Cinema, Brighton. Lots of Christmas fun, prizes, stand up, secret dancing and a live podcast. You'd be crazy to miss it -

Thursday 21st January 2010 - St David's Hall, Cardiff. Another full evening with stand up and a podcast. This is selling OK, but there is not much publicity for it so please let all your Welsh friends know! It costs quite a lot to hire the room. Get your tickets here -

Monday 1st February 2010 - 100th Podcast LIVE at the Leicester Square Theatre, London. This one is two thirds sold out already, so if you want to come then book NOW. Just a podcast this time, but what a podcast it will be! -

Mainly just for fun these, but lots of designs courtesy of Steve Brown and Stephen Newman at this site -;jsessionid=1e6jdjtejf4n5

Here are all the tour dates in so far. Apologies if I am not coming near to you. It's up to theatres. I will go anywhere that will book me. Still trying to sort out some dates, so there might be a Belfast or a Cheddar gig in there somewhere!
See for full details. Contact theatres for tickets. If they are not for sale yet then I can't help you with that. So talk to the theatre staff and not me about it!

Robin Ince has arranged an amazing line up of comedians and scientists for his Christmas gigs at the Bloomsbury (all sold out) and a big extravaganza at the Hammersmith Apollo - still tickets available. See Dara O Briain, Richard Dawkins, Chris Addison, me and many, many more by booking now -

I am on Never Mind the Buzzcocks this week (I think) and there should also be something on The Culture Show about AIOTM in the next couple of weeks. Look out for the Imagine show about Scrabble which I will also feature in (towards the end of December)

All DVDs and books and posters are available as usual at
We are rushing to try and get Headmaster's Son ready for Christmas, but I think this is unlikely to happen. I will let you know if I am wrong!

I will be recording an interview in Robert Llewyellyn's Carpool shortly, which should be out before Christmas and there's a chance that we might do another Christmas collaboration with Phill and Phil of the Perfect 10. Keep checking your iTunes!

I'd like to thank you all for helping to make 2009 one of my most successful years for a long time and hope you will continue to enjoy my stuff in the New Year.
Have a really great Christmas or whatever you celebrate at this time of the year!

See you in 2010!
