Richard Herring - June News

Hello all
Here's what's going on in the next couple of months - there's loads.

What is Love Anyway? - Charity programme
If you want to get your name in the What is Love Anyway programme which raises money for SCOPE then there's hardly any time left - the deadline is midnight tonight (31st May), so quick go to and donate at least £12.50 and you'll also get sent a limited edition signed programme in August.

Tickets are already available for both my shows. Book ahead to avoid disappointment

At the Underbelly Cowbarn from 4th-28th August at 8.50pm (website says 9pm but I am pretty sure this has been changed)
Buy tickets here-

At the Stand One at 2.20pm from 5th-29th August (not 15th) + preview on 3rd August at different time (4 something I think)
Buy tickets here -

We are recording one episode of this show on the afternoon of the 15th August. Tickets will be available for free from the BBC ticket unit. Keep an eye on

We're already 3 shows into the third series and I think it might be the best season of this stupid show yet. It might also be the last. So don't miss the chance to see it live at the Leicester Square Theatre on the next 3 Mondays. You also get to see an exclusive 45 minute set of stand up not available on line. You can get tickets here -
It will be available to download from iTunes or The British Comedy Guide
Catch up with the old episodes there.
You can also hear our old Radio 2 show "That Was Then This Is Now" in some ways the prototype for AIOTM, here -

You might want to book ahead for October when Stewart Lee will be on

Stewart Lee, Chris Evans of GFS and me have bought the rights for Fist of Fun - series one will be released in time for Christmas. Keep an eye on for details. You can also buy most of my other stuff there.

I am currently writing a pilot comedy drama script about cave guides working in a fictional gorge in Somerset (where do I get my ideas from?) We'll see if anything comes of it.

As well as the Edinburgh special I will be doing a new series of the Radio 4 show in the autumn.

Hope that's enough for you to be getting on with. And hopefully see you at one of those many, many gigs!
