The climb out of my slump seemed to continue today and I sat at my desk working for most of the day. This mainly involved recording links of the Can I Have My Ball Back? podcast (which will be back for three more episodes from next Friday) and Emergency Questions (next ep out on Monday). But it was a lot of fun and I improvised giddily around the script and read out some of your emails. If you have a testicular or cancer based story or question that you think might be relevant email cihmbb@gmail.com. I bamboozled producer Ben (to whom I am indebted) by attempting to sing cihmbb like they spelt out mickey in the Mickey Mouse club. M I C See you real soon K E Y Why? Because we like you.
C I H H from Steps would love this M B B Two Bs which is one more than I've got
I wish any of the ad-libbed attempts had been as good as that. That's how poor they were.

The mountain of booking RHLSTP guests looms over me, as does the fear of not selling enough tickets to ensure all that work won't end in me making a loss, but today I finally secured a guest for the last gig of the current RHLSTP run - it's only bloody Nigel Planer. He did a remote one during lockdown, but this is the first time that I've done a live one with an actual Young One. So I hope you're as excited as me. Given the other guest is Sarah Millican this should be an incredible finale. Surely that's worth a trip into town. Buy your tickets here.
Unbelievably you can still get the cheaper tickets for Peter Baynham and Alistair Green on Monday. What do you people want? Absolutely bamboozled by the variable sales for this series - been some incredible line-ups!
And remember you can watch both these shows live (or at your leisure) as well as the rest of this series at http://gfsboxoffice.com

A lovely soporific evening stone clear for you. I was slightly out of breath but noticeably more perky than I've been of late and I did the slightly longer way round for the first time in ages. Someone pointed out that chapter 144 makes this a gross of stones. Nothing is more gross than this podcast.

Plus a fun RHLSTP with the man who wouldn't clean his pan and creator of Anna Mann, Colin Hoult. Listen here.

The 99p kindle version of Can I Have My Ball Back? was briefly number one in the kindle memoir chart (that's the big one that all authors care about) but Stanley Tucci has wrestled back control again. So do buy the book at this insultingly low price before they put it back up to full price. If you felt like leaving a review in return for this bargain basement price I would be very grateful (maybe not if you slate it). You have to show Stanley Tucci who is boss of the kindle memoirs. I know he cares deeply about this.
