The weight continues to fall off easily and am approaching 10kg lost and also, more excitingly, getting very close to the weight where my BMI switched from obese to simply overweight. Might happen this week. There is never a more thrilling time in any diet.
I was super healthy today - tuna stir fry for breakfast (honestly try it - especially good and healthy with seeds and nuts in there too, a chick pea and broccoli based lunch and an aubergine salad with black bean spaghetti for dinner. Catie continues to be impressed with how delicious all the food I am making is (and I absolutely nailed lunch, I have to say), but so am I. The food is so nice that it doesn't feel like I am depriving myself of anything - was lovely to eat nice bread and desserts on Saturday, but I am not missing those things and the diet doesn't forbid you from eating them. It all continues to feel sustainable.
It was a little tricky to get much of my own work done today as I was in demand for dog walks and lifts and shopping. But I did a couple of bonus Acast plus podcasts for this month and next and listened to the excellent The Great White Bard by Farah Karim-Cooper (who I worked with on Monday and who will hopefully do a future book club) and did a stone clear, before being left in sole charge of the kids and having to get them to bed. I failed and we all ended up watching Ghosts until after their bedtimes. I was then too tired to play myself at snooker. Imagine writing that in your daily diary and it making total sense.
