My wife had bought all four of us bunny onesies to wear at Easter. But I was the only one that fully committed. I wore it pretty much for the whole day, whilst my wife took the kids up to the local shop and wasn't prepared to go out in the village dressed as a bunny with two little bunnies. I think the village would have loved it.
My son looked particularly adorable as his costume came with a little bow-tie, but everyone looked good. My onesie was a bit tight and it made going to the toilet a bit of a palaver and by the evening I had managed to pop the zip leaving me with my chest hanging on like some kind of a centaur, except with the top half of a man and the bottom half of a rabbit and also some of the top half of a rabbit and also suspiciously human looking rabbit legs. Luckily that is exactly the look that turns on my wife.
The kids are both a lot of fun at the moment and I enjoyed playing Spider-man and Elsa, Elsa and Anna and Batman and Superman with Phoebe (though there weren't strict rules about any of the games and Batman and Spiderman seemed largely to be about chasing each other round the room in a circle regardless of who played which role.
I was dressed as a rabbit too remember.

We watched Cloverfield tonight, having watched the Cloverfield Paradox last night. We had seen Cloverfield on one of our early dates - Catie seemed to remember lots of details of the day, whilst pretty much all I recalled was that Cloverfield ends under a bridge in Central Park.
But I don't need a memory because I have Warming Up and voila - turns out Catie didn't remember the day quite as well as she thought, so my bad memory but brilliant blog wins. I can't believe I did a gig after going to see art and a film. We used to pack a lot into our days back then.
Anyway,  I liked Cloverfield the second time too, though and was surprised to see Lizzy Caplan and TJ Miller in it. I actually did Set List with TJ Miller a few years back and had no idea he was the guy from this film (though to be fair he is largely behind the camera). It's an enjoyable bit of sci fi and the way its shot on camcorder and that most of the action is suggested rather than seen is nice (though gets a little stretched). I couldn't understand what sway the main guy had over the others that made them follow him to what was certain death to rescue a woman who was almost certainly dead and who he barely really knew. But the futility of the quest and the self-delusion of early love are sort of what it's about.
It didn't seem to take place in the same universe as the Cloverfield Paradox though, in which the planet earth is on the verge of destruction from war. But I guess those privileged New Yorkers might not care about that. Though apparently the Cloverfield Paradox was not initially a Cloverfield film. I do approve of the Cloverfield franchise mixing stuff up though. The second one is equally detached from the first in many ways.
