After a week of catered food on the film my weight has crept up a little and whenever I am tired I find it hard to keep my calories down, so I went for a 4K run this morning.
When I'd been dragged from sleep by my boy at the unusually late time of 6.40am I had been unusually comatose. I tend to wake up first, sometimes at 3 or 4am. But this morning I would have given almost anything for another half an hour. I'd been dreaming of taking my wife to Paris for a romantic break. That should have tipped me off that I was asleep.
I made my son pancakes and was going to give him bacon, but he said “you can't eat piggies, daddy.” Good to see he has a social conscience, though he had sausages for lunch, the hypocrite!

I also managed two dog walks and did my first stone clearing podcast for a couple of weeks. I inadvertently came up with a joke -there will be one every 114 episodes, so watch out! When I asked myself why I was clearing the field of stones , I replied “Because it's there…. And I want it to be over there.”
That could be a T shirt! Or an inspirational poster.
And no doubt it will be.

I watched Call My Agent tonight. Late to the party, but one of the actors had been in our film (and was rather brilliant, especially as she was improvising in a second language). I am glad I didn't watch this first as I might have been intimidated acting alongside her! It's a very good show. I am only about six years behind the curve so I bet they will be glad of this plug. As it has a lot of famous guest stars, working with one of the cast has really upped my six degrees of Kevin Bacon score.
The actor was very sweet in real life and invited us all to Paris (probably explains my dream). I am tempted to just turn up tomorrow and say “you said I could come!”
